Regulatory disputes

Maciej specialises in advisory services for entities operating in the energy and gas sector. He mainly deals with strategic regulatory advisory and supports entrepreneurs in investment processes.

His experience includes representing parties in cases before public administration authorities, in particular the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. 

He represents clients in common court proceedings and before the Supreme Court in numerous energy regulatory matters. Maciej has also represented clients in numerous cases before administrative courts, including the Supreme Administrative Court. He has also assisted them in legislative processes.

He passed a judicial exam, worked for the Energy Regulatory Office for several years and then for international and Polish law firms, where he coordinated teams advising the energy sector. 

He is a vice-president of the Polish Energy Law Association (SPPE). 

He is the author of commentaries to the Energy Law. He has lectured energy law at Polish and foreign universities.

Filip specializes in providing advice on regulatory matters to entities in the energy and gas sector, with a particular focus on entities in the wind energy sector. He also specializes in advising on environmental law, with particular emphasis on issues related to electromobility.

He advises in administrative proceedings in the scope of granting concessions for trade in energy, gas and other fuels, as well as in proceedings for granting connection conditions and conclusion of grid connection agreements.

His experience in the wind energy sector (including offshore) includes participation in numerous wind farm acquisition projects, including analysis of industry specific agreements such as GCAs (grid connection agreements), TSAs (turbine supply agreements), GCPAs (green certificate purchase agreements) and PPAs (power purchase agreements).

Filip also advises on environmental issues, including in particular waste management and water law. He advised on the draft legislative work on the act on waste electrical and electronic equipment, as well as in the dispute with the provincial marshal concerning withdrawal of the water law permit.

Sylwia has gained experience in leading law firms in Warsaw. She focuses on providing legal advice to entities in the energy sector. She prepares comprehensive analyses and legal opinions, and supports entrepreneurs in drafting and negotiating key contracts in the energy sector.

She advises power generators, distribution and transmission system operators, trading companies, developers of photovoltaic and wind farms, including offshore wind farms. 

Sylwia provides comprehensive legal services in the course of day-to-day operations of enterprises. She advises on issues related to grid connection, licensing and activity in the RES sector. An important part of her practice is the investment process. She has gained experience while implementing infrastructure projects for the largest players in the energy sector and providing advisory services during construction and modernization projects of line facilities, power and gas infrastructure and construction of offshore wind farms. 

Sylwia graduated in law from Kozminski University in Warsaw. She communicates in Polish and English.
